Amica 19.7 Phoenix Date: November 7, 2010 Location: Peoria, Arizona Start Time: 8:00 a.m.

The Amica 19.7 Phoenix is held at the beautiful Lake Pleasant. The half-mile swim course starts on the Four Lane Boat Ramp with a wading start. Wet suits are legal in the 67 degree water. Swimmers will then head to the transition area where they will begin a challenging but incredibly rewarding 16.1 mile bike leg. The bike course is predominantly straight, consisting of long rolling hills where riders can get up to top speeds on the smooth closed road. Heading back down to the transition area at the Four Lane Boat Ramp, riders will transition and run back up Castle Hot Springs road before turning around and finishing the 3.1 mile run.
